First topic message reminder :

And now time for an actual roleplay? Haha I don't know. Let's try it for once. We're still gonna go with MOTHER characters but being that this is mainly for Dusty that should be given.

--Generic Starter Because We Don't Need Skellies Where We're Going--

And so since the threat of the Couch Flipper had been taken care of and was revealed to be Claus all along, Fuel simply chilled in Duster's basement, aka the Thief Cave, sipping hot chocolate as they always had. On Mondays, anyway. After midnight it would officially be Tuesday, yet he'd still be able to hang out with the guy anyway. His fire powers would come in handy eventually, he knew it.

And he probably wouldn't have tried practicing if he knew how bad the wind outside was getting.

"Mm!" He really hadn't noticed, he'd been used to speaking in an entirely different language, and it was possibly where his accent came from. "Oh uh--...Sorry..." Oh, come on! It's not like it's his fault anyway..

"Oh it's fine!" Duster reassured. If English was his second language [which he presumed it was.] then it probably wasn't his fault that he spoke that language fluently. "But uh...what did you say there anyways?"

"I said.." He paused for a moment, not sure if he should continue, "Uh....this blanket smells a bit like cheese." Well, it did! Not like it was Duster's fault though.

"Oh, it does? Heheh...sorry about that, I like to, uh "Bed & Breakfast" sometimes, so I guess it would kind of smell like, well, cheese.." Duster awkwardly explained, he knew that he smelled of cheese, but geez was it really that bad?

And the only thing Ninten really got out of that, or decided to comment on was, of course, the ever awkward, "You have cheese for breakfast?". He wasn't sure how the question would make Duster react but come on, it had to be asked!

Then again, Ninten didn't exactly have the best breakfast ever either.

"Yeeeeaaaah....I kinda' do, I mean sure. I love the stuff a lot, you could call me addicted, but I can't be the only one who eats it for breakfast am I?" Duster didn't want to start questioning his eating habits of all things. He knew it was already bad but..really?

"But uh...yeah, sorry about the smell but, y'welcome for the blanket!" Duster quickly blurted out, trying not to deepen the subject.

Ninten smiled a bit more at this, preaching, "Nah man, I think I'm addicted to Oreos of all things!" He disregarded the sudden topic change, not minding the banter too much. He just liked talking!

"Oreos? What are those?" Duster asked. Curious, what exactly could this mysterious "Oreos" be? Was it a salad like food? Maybe it was some kind of meat? Fascinating indeed!

"Cookies!" Ninten quickly beamed, suddenly excited for whatever reason. It was good, too, he pretty much always had some on hand. Oreos were yummy, and whenever he went outside to play, his mom would always give him a pack, or two if he bothered to ask.

"Cookies huh?" Duster responded. Well I guess it did kind of make sense, the name gave off a vibe that it would be a cookie, somewhat? But Duster was a fan of cookies, or at least Nut Cookies, sometimes he'd go scouring around the place looking for nuts to be baked into said cookies.

"Uh, what exactly are they like..?" Duster asked.

Ninten brightened more at the possibility that Duster at least got the idea, but he went on to describe these "Oreos" anyway.

"Uh, well.. They're chocolate... and have this vanilla cream..." That was all he could really describe them with, though he'd probably be better off taking out a few.

"Okay...that sounds, pretty good actually. Although I'm not entire sure how it's worth the time to produce the cream and the chocolate just to put into one little cookie! That's an awful lot of work isn't it?" Duster somewhat went on about it, not seeing that how different it is to make said resources where Ninten lives.

"Well no, they have machines to do it, don't they...?" He completely missed the circumstances of where he was and his time period, in fact he didn't even think about how far he was into the future.

"Well...we really don't use machinery for that stuff around here.." It was true, most people in Tazmily enjoy to do things more old-fashioned, despite being so far into the future, although there was more reasons then just that.

"Mmm.." Ninten just let this noise trail off, finally becoming rather tired again. Well, it was pretty late, and he wasn't exactly sure how Fuel hadn't woken up yet. Oh well.

"You can go to sleep if you want, best we find more about what's going on in the morning." Duster suggested. While he wanted to learn more about the epidemic at hand, it was best to wait for a more, well, suitable time.

"Sounds good..." was all he could utter in response. He was still kind of excited to find out what was going on, but all of that could wait until he actually rested. It would probably be a long day. And with that, he let himself doze off.

So with that, Duster decided to go back to bed himself. Wondering what exactly would happen the next day, and how Fuel would react when he woke up and found Ninten inside the house, whether it would be with panic, violence, or welcome.

Either way, a new day was going to start and they had somebody to help now.

That morning, Fuel was up way earlier than he normally would have been. It took him a while to notice who was asleep beside him, and when he did, he practically screamed. They rarely had company! But of course, he wasn't too much of an ass to wake anyone up. And once he thought about it, he decided to cook something, solely because he knew how. Quietly slinking out of bed, he went to work on such.

Duster rolled about before getting up, noticing Fuel was gone, it was evident he had already woken up. While Ninten was still asleep where we was last night. Duster had decided to go upstairs to discover Fuel, of all things, cooking.

"Oh uh, hey there Fuel, so did you see the boy down there?" He asked, curious on how'd he feel about the situation.

Fuel smiled, noting Duster being awake. "Yeah, 'course ah did!" It wasn't too much to really talk about, it was probably a traveler or something. He turned his attention back to the pan, being careful not to burn its contents.

"Oh well, uh, we kinda' have to help him out, he doesn't know why he's here and we gotta' help him find his way back to his own time, or something along those lines." Duster suddenly explained, best he explained what they had to do to Fuel before anything else. "Also uh....what ARE you cooking?"

Hearing just one little part of what Duster had said completely threw him off responding. "His own time?!" Well, of course!

"Well yeah, his own time! According to him he's from 1982 of all years!" Duster explained further, trying to emphasize just how big the gap was between his time and theirs.
