Actual RP For Once?

First topic message reminder :

And now time for an actual roleplay? Haha I don't know. Let's try it for once. We're still gonna go with MOTHER characters but being that this is mainly for Dusty that should be given.

--Generic Starter Because We Don't Need Skellies Where We're Going--

And so since the threat of the Couch Flipper had been taken care of and was revealed to be Claus all along, Fuel simply chilled in Duster's basement, aka the Thief Cave, sipping hot chocolate as they always had. On Mondays, anyway. After midnight it would officially be Tuesday, yet he'd still be able to hang out with the guy anyway. His fire powers would come in handy eventually, he knew it.

And he probably wouldn't have tried practicing if he knew how bad the wind outside was getting.

Fuel ran wide eyed at this, of course. "...19....1982?!" That was a few hundred years in the past! He almost let the potatoes he had in the pan burn, and noting this he quickly yanks them off the stove and almost spills them everywhere. Smooth.

Ah! Watch out there!" Duster jumped back, the pan almost hitting him. "B-But yeah, that many years back...I know how odd it is but, he doesn't know why he's here either" He went on, at least that's what he was told last night.

Fuel lets out a sigh, then stares up at Duster. "But... it doesn't even seem possible!" He wasn't aware that Ninten didn't remember anything, either, but it really didn't. Then again, he knew the limits of PSI and then again, maybe that was involved.

"I know it doesn't! But I'm pretty sure he wasn't lying...he sounded really sincere about it, and the problem he's been having with this weird time jump thing. I think it's best we at least try to help out.

Ninten slowly stirred, letting the blanket drop to the floor and stretching, a relaxed noise escaping him. He examines his surroundings in the new light of day, before getting up and saying, "Good morning?"

Fuel smiled brightly at him, excitably uttering "Good mornin'!" He hadn't seen too much company in a while, and he was rather social.

"Oh, uh, hey there Ninten!" Duster greeted the boy. "Uh, so when will we start looking around to see if anybody knows what happened to you?" Duster asked, while he knew he was getting into things a bit quickly here, he knew it was best to see when he wanted to figure this out.

"Also uh, food should be done soon I guess." He added casually.

Fuel rolled his eyes and went back to cooking, it was still rather funny though being that he almost burned it. And for once, it was almost his fault. Though he didn't do a good job at hiding his curiosity, he too wanted to know what happened to this mysterious brown haired boy who just showed up on their doorstep.

Ninten kind of offhandedly glanced at his mud covered shoes, his smile fading slightly. He didn't remember anything and thus couldn't figure out his motive to go back home. Thankfully most of the pain had stopped, but one look at his arms, and the bit of his legs that weren't covered by red socks would reveal bruises and scrapes, which he didn't know the origin of. A huge scratch also went up the side of his face, too deep for him to notice the pain and, for some reason, the blood also went unnoticed. "I dunno..."

"Hey uh Fuel, what are you lookin' at there?" Duster asked, noticing him inspecting the boy in front of him.

"I mean....wow." Duster was soon drawn off, noticing himself how badly messed up Ninten looked up, from the bruises to the gash on his face. "Oh...I see."

Fuel nodded, and his jaw could've dropped through the floor. It was a miracle that Ninten could still move, or at least from his perspective.

Ninten looked at them both curiously, not noticing how ruined he looked. "Uh... What're you lookin' at? Is it...my hair?" Well he was used to people staring at said hair, but you know.

"Well you kinda' got a, well it's a.." Duster tried to signal what he was talking about by putting his finger up to his cheek, but it didn't seem to get through.

"Here just, take a look for yourself!" Duster then grabbed a spare pan from the kitchen drawer, and held it in front of Ninten's face, showing off it's reflection.

Ninten jumped back at the reflection, his eyes visibly watering, frightened by the fact that he had this huge gash across his face. A gasp came from him and he held his hand up to his cheek, staring at the blood that stains his pale fingers. "B-but...!"

Fuel, being who he was, couldn't help but giggle at the reaction as he put the food on different plates and set the pan in the sink to soak. If worst came to worst, they could ask one of the two resident PSIs of Tazmily if they really needed to. Though Tessie was usually all that was needed.

"I guess we should walk him over to the Inn then?" Duster asked, turning over to Fuel for confirmation.

"I mean, Tessie has handled a lot worse cases than just something like this, don't worry, we'll get that thing there patched up, well, quicker than you can say, uh, "Hey Duster I'm hungry!" Duster assured.

"Can't that wait? Ah mean the food's done..." Fuel looked around at Duster, a look of "Are you serious?" crossing his face.

Ninten looked up at them both, his eyes filling with tears. Gulping, he said, "Uh...I...I dunno.."

"Okay, okay. I guess it can wait then." It was true it was better they ate something before leaving the house.

However this was when it was noticed how Ninten was reacting to this. "Huh, what's wrong Ninten?" Duster asked, curious what the problem was.

Fuel just stood there in disbelief. "But it didn't hurt before?"

"Well Fuel, sometimes you don't notice or feel any pain when you don't know the wound it there. So when you're conscious of it, you suddenly "feel" the wound because your mind now signals you're supposed to be in pain, or..something like that." Duster said to Fuel, trying his best to explain, despite not really being an expert on the subject.

Fuel, of course, being Fuel, only understood half of that, but acted like he got it. "Oh... okay.." He also didn't understand how people worked, a la the anthill problem, but even something as simple as that shouldn't have went through one ear and out the other.

Ninten simply kept his fingers up to the gash on his cheek, and, even though he himself didn't notice, the bleeding slowed slightly and the wound closed, if not just a bit. And anyone witnessing said healing could have sworn his fingers were glowing then.

Duster took a quick look at Fuel, raising an eyebrow at him, as if to say "You really didn't get that, did you?"

But as Duster turned around and noticed Ninten's fingers on the gash, but it seemed different to some extent. "Uh, Ninten, is it me or is your wound....healed?" He asked, it appeared that the gash on his cheek at healed at a miraculous rate. There was probably only one explanation for it, but what where the chances?

Fuel ran red faced and sat down, shoving a forkful of the potatoes in his mouth.

Ninten stared at him as if he was crazy. "No, it still hurts!"

"No..really, I swear it was." Duster said. "Just, remove your fingers for a second so I can see if it really was"

He could've healed it the way Lucas would've, but was it possible he was a PSI user? Well it is possible he's not aware of it, but still.

Fuel stopped eating and stared at the ceiling. He didn't too much care about what was going on around him.

Ninten gingerly removed his fingers, staring down once again at the blood on them. It didn't hurt to touch the wound, for whatever reason. "Uh..okay.."

Duster leaned forward a little to inspect the gash. "Hm, it seems to have healed up a bit, not sure why though." Duster said, before backing up again.

"So uh, what do we do now?" Duster asked the other two, he somewhat lost track of what was going on whilst being concerned about what was happening with the wound.

Fuel simply rolled his eyes while Ninten shrugged.

"It's prolly jus' you. No way we 'ave anotha psychic on our hands. Lucas and his bro were apparently chosen." said the younger brunette as he messed around with his fork. Ninten sat down, suddenly sheepish. He wasn't aware if he was psychic or not, in fact there was so little he remembered. Places and things were all filled in but specifics were just missing. It was frustrating, too, being able to remember pictures and places but things like faces were just gone.

"Well, I know Lucas and Claus were..chosen, so was Kumatora, but remember how far in the past he's from? They might have had PSI then too." Duster theorized, he would've just asked Ninten himself. But he himself seemed not to know the answer, as if he had amnesia or something to that extent.

Ninten simply shrugged in response too, his face showing both frustration and sadness. It was hard, really, he didn't know who or what he had back at home or if he came here to escape said home. He wasn't sure what to do next or how to even go about it. However what he did remember as far as specifics went, was just a name and a melody. They didn't have any significance, as far as he knew or bothered to look into.
