First topic message reminder :

And now time for an actual roleplay? Haha I don't know. Let's try it for once. We're still gonna go with MOTHER characters but being that this is mainly for Dusty that should be given.

--Generic Starter Because We Don't Need Skellies Where We're Going--

And so since the threat of the Couch Flipper had been taken care of and was revealed to be Claus all along, Fuel simply chilled in Duster's basement, aka the Thief Cave, sipping hot chocolate as they always had. On Mondays, anyway. After midnight it would officially be Tuesday, yet he'd still be able to hang out with the guy anyway. His fire powers would come in handy eventually, he knew it.

And he probably wouldn't have tried practicing if he knew how bad the wind outside was getting.

Duster jumped at the crash, and the quick flash of lightning beforehand.

"Well uh, I guess it's best we wait until this storm subsides first before we try to figure out anything about why you're here." Duster exclaimed.

A shift from "Fuel" beside him scares him over more to the side. He'd never been one to be easily startled but for some reason, it got him pretty badly.

"Oh don't mind my friend, he shifts a bit in his sleep sometimes." Duster said, glancing at Fuel, who was still out like a light.

He noted the use of the word friend repeatedly in place of the boy's name, but quickly decided against pointing it out. Oh well, the two seemed nice enough. "S..so uh..Where is here..?"

"Here? Well uh, this is Tazmily Village, smack-dab in the center, well somewhat. Of the Nowhere Islands. Although you don't seem like you're from around here at all, well I know that now but still, that accent shows it all first off." The Thief went on. "But uh, yeah, we're not sure if these islands are the last pieces of land left or if there's anything else out there.."

A blush crosses his face, hearing this. "A-accent?! What accent?!" Hell, he'd had Ana tell him about it before, but he really didn't think it was notable to someone he'd just met. Hell, he didn't even know what kind it was, and the simple fact that it was mentioned practically nullified everything else he wanted to say. Yet he heard it all.

"Well, yeah, an accent! You know what an accent is right? It's a way your voice is....well....I really don't know how to describe it myself, all I know is that it's determined by your heritage in a way, or something like that.." Duster, not being very knowledgeable on the subject, trying to drop it.

"Yeah dude I know what an accent is," Ninten quickly clears up, panicking slightly. "Just, I.. have one?" Really? He never quite noticed it. Hell, it did take him forever and a half to learn English, so maybe..

"You never noticed it? Well I guess you get used to your own voice and you never really know what it'd sound like to others maybe?" Duster replied. Who knows maybe he himself had an accent he wasn't aware of. "But uh, yeah, you have an accent!"

Ninten tests the word "accent", trying to hear if maybe he could figure out what was up. Well, he did instinctively quiet the stress on the "t". Maybe that was it. But then he glanced around, noting the darkness of the sky. "Wait... what time is it?"

"T-The time?" Duster said in a surprised tone, he himself wasn't quite sure, seeing that he just woke up. So he had to closely inspect the clock on the wall to get the answer. "It's, um, around 2 AM!"

Brown eyes quickly shift to the wall clock, too, being able to make the time out much faster than Duster.

"Well, if you want to we should, the storm seems like it will be going on through the night." Duster said. He was still somewhat tired after being suddenly woken up by Ninten's yelling. So maybe it was best?

Ninten half shrugged, stopping to wince at the pain that such an action brought him. He didn't know why, and he wasn't even tired. A small squeak comes from him at this, too.

"You don't have to go to sleep if you don't want to, okay?" Duster said. The squeak to him seemed to indicate that he disagreed with the idea. "I'd light the fire but, heh, I'm not one who actually knows how t-" Duster was about to finished before being interrupted by another crash of thunder.

He squeaked again at the thunder, still not being one to note it. And suddenly searing pain shoots through him, Ninten not noting the initiative but still reacting all the same, as in, with a harsh groan. He didn't even know what happened!

"Uh...are you okay? W-What happened there?" Duster quickly questioned Ninten. As is seemed he was in pain for one reason or another. "Was is the shock..did it hurt you somehow?!"

"N...no.. I always hurt like this...re-remember?" A stupid grin graces his face, however uncalled for as it may have been. Hell, he hurt and couldn't remember why. What's funny about that?

"Oh right...the whole falling in from the storm thing, yeah I can see why that'd still hurt." Duster somewhat pulled out, although it did make sense...to him at least.

The grin on Ninten's face somewhat threw him off however, it just kinda'...showed up? He seemed almost entertained by this, but why?

"That's... as far as I can remember, though.. I'm almost positive it's not just the storm's fault..." Ninten glances to the side, his grin fading. Shivers a bit, too, as the fire isn't going and his clothes are still rather damp. It was all so funny, too, he could've sworn that while whatever he was doing before this happened, was he even considering that this could happen? Would he ever even know?

"Ugh...well, it's best if we ask around in the morning if anybody had seen what happened. Duster assured. But he also noticed his condition and quickly pulled the blanket off of his bed, handing it to him. "Here, you can have this, you still seem somewhat...well, dampened from that stupid rain. Just try to warm up okay?"

The brunette graciously grabs the blanket and wraps himself in it, smiling all the while. "Merci...beaucoup...." He hadn't noticed just how he said that, but it was pretty obvious what was being uttered anyway. These people didn't even know him and they were being so nice!

"What did you ju-" Duster said, however cutting himself off. "But uh, good to see you find use for the blanket there!" He was simply glad he could help somebody here, usually people rush straight to the Yado Inn. or somewhere close if they needed help. However Duster felt somewhat happy that he was able to help somebody on his own.

Ninten tilts his head a bit, expression changing ever so slightly. "Ça sent un peu comme le fromage..." Uh, dude, that's not English? However he hadn't quite thought of that yet, he honestly was used to speaking such a language around his family. He just hadn't noticed that he was speaking it so suddenly.
